Unusually complex door delivery to Stavanger concert hall by SSC

"This is a case in point, where the customer makes use of both the in-depth know-how possessed by our centre of excellence and our product expertise," says Kenneth Johansen of SSC's sales team. “It involved a variety of requirements for everything from soundproofing and fire classification to, first and foremost, a wealth of variations in design and appearance. We have provided, for example, different surface treatments such as oiled maple, several types of moulding, frame solutions in both wood and steel – to name but a few. This, of course, has also made considerable demands of us in terms of specifying instructions and directing installation,” says Kenneth.

The Stavanger project is also a good example of SSC’s ability to reach out across national borders and to satisfy the, often specific, aesthetic requirements of the culture sector. “We have long viewed the entire Nordic region as our home market and we are gaining an increasingly strong position in Norway and elsewhere. When it comes to projects within the cultural field we are naturally happy that our extensive experience in Sweden and from projects such as Kulturens Hus in Luleå and Uppsala Konsert & Kongress can now also be put to use in projects for our western neighbour,” concludes Kenneth.
