Work pressure and increased demand creating room for growth and development, something the whole Joinex group is experiencing. Not least SSC Wiklunds, who now are moving into larger and more suitable premises on the Hedensbyn industrial estate in Skellefteå. New and increased efficiency, capacity and quality will be some of the effects customers will notice.

- We’ll be able to develop even further and quicker in the new building. Among other things, we’ll be investing 800,000 SEK in new technology this coming year. That will rationalise our production even more, says Ingemar Brännström, co-owner and managing director of SSC Wiklunds.

environments better in many of the country’s large hospitals over the years – one current example is the Östra Hospital in Gothenburg. Thanks to the move, Wiklunds is more able to "live as they preach”.

- Absolutely, the new building has allowed us to concentrate more on the working environment and without doubt it will be a much better and more attractive workplace, says Ingemar.

SSC Wiklunds’ new premises also allow for a higher quality and competence, partly thanks to new machinery but also other processes.
- Now we can detect and minimise unproductive operations in storage, waste and transport. On the competence side of things, by taking on a further owner we’ll be able to spend more time on implementing the improvements we have planned, like the working environment.

The move brings Wiklunds physically much closer to the Joinex sales company.
- Of course, it means there will  be better communication whenever we need to quickly chew over and discuss various issues with salesmen and project managers. Coming closer to town will also benefit our service. All in all we regard this move as only positive – no doubt it’s going to be a lift, concludes Ingemar Brännström från SSC Wiklunds.
