New managing director for SSC
|

| SSC Skellefteå AB has a new managing director. Peter Forsséll, former administrative manager for the company, is taking over the helm from SSC’s chairman of the board, Sven-Olof Holmström, who has been acting managing director since 2004.
“It will be a great challenge to lead SSC. We have an exciting future ahead of us, with strong growth for the SSC Group,” says Peter Forsséll.
Peter Forsséll, age 40, took over as managing director on 1 January. He has been with the company since 2003 and spent the past year as administrative manager at SSC Skellefteå. Prior to that he was IT manager for a large Nordic IT company.
“As administrative manager I have got to know the SSC Group inside out, and Sven-Olof Holmström and I have worked hard together to develop the organization and strengthen SSC’s brand. This is a task I will continue as managing director,” says Peter Forsséll. |

He explains that SSC Skellefteå has been focusing increasingly on its core business in recent years.
“We will concentrate on marketing and selling the products and services of the SSC Group.”
Success for extended service concept
Peter Forsséll stresses that the extended service concept formulated by SSC has been a success. This concept means that SSC also takes responsibility for installing the products it supplies.
“It has brought us much closer to our customers’ customers.”
The strength of the extended service concept becomes particularly apparent on big projects. Peter Forsséll gives the example of a prestige order for the Turning Torso building in Malmö.
“We are supplying and installing the fittings for reception and for two exclusive conference floors, which will be opened in March,” he concludes.
