Panelled doors from SSC Joinex preserve cultural values

Specially manufacturing details and products that preserve cultural values is something in which SSC Joinex has a lot of experience. And for which we have been contracted due to our expertise and capacity to do so cost effectively.
|
This is also the case in a project where an old 19th century building on Blasieholmen is now being rebuilt into a hotel. SSC Joinex is supplying hotel room doors that are typical for the time and yet ultra-modern.
“That’s right. On the one hand, these panelled doors mirror the look of the 1800s completely. Each of the 125 doors will be fitted with old-fashioned hinges and brush painted on site. On the other hand, the door will have a noise value of up to 40 dB, which makes a pretty impressive combination,” says Roland Andersson, sales rep at SSC Joinex.

built in 1829. The property’s current owner and developer for the development project is Sparbössan Fastigheter AB. Construction contractor is JM Entreprenad AB. The architect is SWECO FFNS, with whom SSC is collaborating closely to reach the best possible results both in terms of design and production.
SSC Joinex’s experience of this type of “cultural environment assignment” can be divided into both technical and human challenges and aspects.
“When it comes to these types of special assignments, a lot comes down to professional skills and craftsmanship, qualities we have in abundance in our company. At the same time, we also have to work within the financial parameters, which is where our advanced level of technology and equipment comes into play. The sum total of these advantages means that we are often considered for these types of projects, which is quite an honour and inspiring,” says Roland Andersson.
